The center of this wheel always stays in the same position, allowing to put more control buttons on this wheel. One of the main advantage is supposed to be that the driver's airbag is deploying always at the correct angle. So, the shape of the airbag can be optimized.
The translucent instrument display gives informations on speed. This dispaly is readable at day and at night (the more brighter during the day, the more you can see).
